The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LSIP 2026–2029 is an employer-led plan produced by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, built on eight priority sector evidence reviews and structured around Six Key Priorities: (1) strengthening technical skills pipelines, (2) accelerating digital skills and adoption, (3) improving entry pathways and core skills for an inclusive workforce, (4) expanding leadership and management capability, (5) stimulating employer demand for skills, and (6) strengthening the skills system. The eight priority sectors split into four nationally strategic Industrial Strategy frontier industries (Advanced Manufacturing inc Engineering/Advanced Materials, Clean Energy, Creative Industries and Crea-Tech, Digital and Technology) and four locally critical sectors (Agriculture and Agri-Tech, Construction, Health and Social Care, Advanced Logistics and Distribution).
